Trapper 11

Wood and canvas canoes were first made in the 1800s, evolving from Native American birchbark designs. As modern materials became available and production processes improved, wood and canvas canoes gained favor with consumers, being more durable and requiring less maintenance than their birchbark predecessors.

In the late 1890's George Gray's vision to produce wood and canvas canoes on a grand scale became a reality and the Old Town Canoe Company was born.

The Trapper is a swift, lightwight boat that takes canoeing back to its simplest roots. Light, stable and economical.
