Loon 160T

The Loon 160T (16' 0" tandem) combines paddling ease, tracking ability and excellent stability beyond that of other two-seat entry level kayaks.

The extra size of the Loon 160T allows the family to get out on the water in a stable yet efficient design. Designed for tandem paddling, it can easily switch to a solo simply by sliding the bow seat. This versatile craft, with its huge, comfortable cockpit and specially designed folding high back seat, can also carry extra gear, a small third passenger or pet.

The Loon 160T features Old Town's patented Polylink3™ roto-molding process to produce a superior three-layered linear polyethylene hull that offers a stiffer bottom and deck while reducing weight and omitting the need for a keelson. In addition, the foam core provides built in flotation, which also acts as insulation against both cold and noise.
