After spending longer in R&D and testing than any other Wilderness Systems boat, the original Cape Horn was launched to almost immediate acceptance. Not only did the concept make sense (a slightly smaller touring boat with a pedigree to be proud of), the execution delivered. Our designers married a multi-chine hull with a low-profile deck and produced a kayak with bombproof initial and secondary stability, an excellent turn of speed and dead-on tracking.
