Brian Henry founded Current Designs almost twenty years ago out of a deep passion for kayaking. Growing up on Canada's West Coast with its deep fjords and vast island archipelagos Brian was drawn to its sheer natural beauty and became an avid kayaker.

Brian's creative talents really emerged when he decided to design a new wave of kayaks for today's paddler. The rediscovery of kayak touring around the world has been inspired by the artistry and innovation of Brian Henry and others like him.
